Upcoming: Ed is currently in development for a brand new show opening in the West End in summer 2027 with Neal Street productions and in rehearsal for Billy Elliot The Musical for Working Title Films (UK Tour and Adelphi Theatre, West End): both as Associate Director.

Most Recently: International Associate Director of Billy Elliot The Musical (Seoul), Kyoto (Associate Director - RSC and Good Chance - Lincoln Center, NYC, Resident Director - RSC and Good Chance - Soho Place) - for Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin, The Fear of 13 (Donmar Warehouse) - Associate Director for Justin Martin.

Television and Film: Ed was Children’s Director on The Crown - Season 3 - Aberfan (Netflix). He wrote and directed Matilda at Home (SKY VIP/RSC).

Ed has been a visiting director and lecturer at University of Chichester, Central School of Speech and Drama, ICTheatre Brighton, Trinity College of Music, BRIT School, Croydon, Italia Conti (Acting Department) and Urdang, London as well as delivering workshops for The Old Vic. Ed trained originally as an actor. Notable acting credits include: Power (National Theatre), Iphigenia at Aulis (Oxford Playhouse), The Iron Eyelashes (Dublin, Ipswich) and Bright Star (BBC Films).
